Excellent advice. I started at 53 and the issue still is getting training partners that agree with that philosophy. Schools attract younger players that are interested in 10th Planet type moves, Rubber Guard, Single X, Leg entries and the "modern" game. It is very frustrating not having training partners your age range.

Master, thank you so much for your inspiration and guidance. I started the JiuJitsu last year for the first time at 69 years old, I've advanced to a 3 stripe white belt and motivated to get to my Blue belt. I'm a dedicated Hot Yoga practitioner now 23 years in the practice which has helped me with the JiuJitsu. You Master, motivate me and what has helped me has been your drills and BREATHING techniques, you are by far the best in understanding the breath with the JiuJitsu. Thank you for who you are Sir and for your continued teachings! My second goal after the Blue belt is to fly from Florida to receive one of your private lessons.
